Leveraging the attractive supply/demand dynamics and lack of quality accommodation, a JV program with a private equity investor was established. An efficient platform centered around the “Blækhus” brand was scaled to 1,200 units. The program targeted central locations in Copenhagen and Aarhus with an emphasis on providing attractive common facilities and services.
The portfolio and brand was successfully divested in 2023. The Blækhouse portfolio illustrates our conviction in operationally intensive real estate with strong fundamentals.
